Try this out with your Resume or CV. Select the top few paragraphs and try changing them to Times New Roman, Arial and Tahoma. There is a big difference! The other killer about Times New Roman is that it looks old fashioned. Generally most people stopped using this back in the very early 90’s. It simply doesn’t flatter your efforts and won’t sell you effectively. Generally Arial, Tahoma and Verdana look much better without being over the top. There are plenty of other fonts that look truly ghastly. Steer well clear………
